SENIOR PASTOR CHIVER WAT

Pastor Chiver joined FCBC as senior pastor in January of 2005. He is married to Louisa and has two daughters, Ruth and Sara. He was born in Hong Kong, came to know Christ while studying for a postgraduate diploma at the University of Leeds, England, and was called into full time ministry while in Canada. He received a Master of Divinity from Ontario Theological Seminary in 1992 and a Doctor of Ministry from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002. He has served as pastor at Pickering Chinese Baptist Church in Canada, York Region Chinese Baptist Church in Canada, as well as Shatin Baptist Church in Hong Kong. He has also served as ministry executive and director of literature ministry for Christian Communication Inc. His hobbies include swimming, hiking and reading.

FAMILY MINISTER LOUISA WAT

Louisa, married to Pastor Chiver with two daughters Ruth and Sara. She joined FCBC as a family minister and Chinese Ministry secretary in September of 2005. She was born and raised up in Hong Kong, earned her Bachelor degree in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom in 1981, Master of Divinity from Ontario Theological Seminary in 1992. She had been a teacher in Christian schools for over ten years; served as a minister in Shatin Baptist Church, Hong Kong for the past four years. Her hobbies are hiking and reading.

ASSOCIATE ENGLISH-SPEAKING PASTOR ADAM HENRY

Pastor Adam Henry joined FCBC as Associate English-Speaking Pastor in May of 2007. He is married to Lyndsey Henry. He was born in Springfield, Missouri but has spent most of his life in Arizona. He came to know Christ at 8 years of age and was called into vocational ministry in the summer following his senior year of high school. He received a Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in 2007. His hobbies are playing with his beagle named Sparky, reading mystery novels, and playing board games.

YOUTH AND COLLEGE PASTOR INTERN

Herman joined the church as the youth and college pastor intern in March of 2007. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and is currently enrolled at Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary where he is working on his Masters of Divinity degree. His favorite candy bar is Twix. His shoe size is 9.5. His hobbies include, but are not limited to, eating snacks, coloring in coloring books, and playing darts.

CUSTODIAN GANG ZHENG

Gang has been custodian since May 2000, is married to Bin Wang and has one daughter Yee Zhin. He was born in Zhrn Yang, China and came to Arizona 3 years ago. His educational background is in finance.

DEACON JIM LOUI

Jim has been a Deacon at FCBC since May 1997. He is married to Karen and has two children Stuart and Matthew.

DEACON RICK ONG

Rick has been a Deacon at FCBC since May 1997, and has served as Sunday School Director since 1993. He is married to Roxanne and has two children Jocelyn and Brad. Born in Phoenix, AZ, Rick has spent his life here in Arizona and earned a BS Engineering, an MS Engineering 1978 and majority of coursework toward an MBA, all at ASU (Go Devils!). His professional background has been as Electrical engineer at Honeywell, Motorola, and currently at ON Semiconductor. His hobbies and interests include sports (spectator and participant), cars, & food. Something interesting about Rick that others generally do not know about him is that he was accepted into U of A Law School but decided not to go because of fierce loyalty as a Sun Devil (actually, prayerfully decided engineering was best choice).
